Georgia Quail Hunting

Our accommodations are a newly constructed 4000 square foot lodge. Six bedrooms and each contains it's own bath. We take great pride in the 1st class quail hunting that we have developed. We also offer mixed bag hunts which include pheasant, chucker and quail. Whether you desire to hunt behind our dogs or bring your own, it is up to you. Hunts are conducted on quail buggies or behind a pair of matched mules with wagon.

Tussockbay is a special place; as unique as its name. We offer extraordinary quail hunting opportunities for both seasoned and novice upland hunters. We are very proud of our conservation efforts which have restored wild quail and turkey to the property. We hunt behind English Pointers, German Shorthairs and Brittany Spaniels. Wexford Farms is a privately owned pine plantation located in Montgomery and Wheeler Counties, Georgia - 75 miles south of Macon and 90 miles northwest of Savannah. With 3,000 acres under management, the owners, Kelly and Patrick Moran, are committed to quail and wildlife preservation. We offer half day, walking quail hunts at reasonable prices. Hunters are provided guide, quality dogs, refreshments, and dressing of birds. You are invited and encouraged to bring your own gundogs. We welcome family hunts with special attention to first timers and youth.
