Iowa Quail Hunting

We are a licensed hunting preserve for pheasant, quail and chukar. AVAD provides prime hunting habitat for game birds and working your dogs to create memorable experiences. Lodging is available on site in the upper level of the lodge for our overnight guests. Attached to the lodge is a meeting room, surrounded by a pond to the South, shooting stations to the East and Habitat to the North. Guide service with dogs can be arranged to point everyone in the right direction for a successful harvest. Our desire is to provide a safe, ethical and fun hunting experience at reasonable rates.

Beck Ridge hunting preserve is a family owned and operated hunting facility, which offers hunting 7 days a week. Our upland bird hunting begins October 1st and runs through March, when the pheasant and quail hunting are most explosive. Hunters and non-hunters alike will appreciate this beautiful country in any season.

Lexington Hunt Club has access to some of the best upland bird hunting in Iowa. We have over 6500 acres of quality land to hunt. We have the kind of habitat that pheasant and quail thrive,....cornstalk fields, fence row cover and the grassy areas. You have the option of hunting upland birds on your own, or hiring one of our expert bird guides for the day. The guide will supply hunting dogs and transportation to the field areas. Welcome to Wild Feather Hunt Club. The preserve is on 649 acres of our family farm. It is gently rolling hills, with creeks, ponds, grassy draws, corn and bean fields, and an abandoned railroad bed. There are some cane areas planted for extra winter cover. We do not take more than 3 reservations at a time so you have over 200 acres to hunt on. You are welcome to bring your own dog or we lease dogs for $25 a day.
